Negroni – Tanqueray Gin, Campari, Antico Rosso
Designed as an aperitif, a good Negroni is the very definition of balance and simplicity. Its continued popularity comes as no surprise.
The origin of the Negroni dates back to 1919 at the Caffe Casoni in Florence. It is reputed that Count Camillo Negroni asked his friend Forsca Scarselli who was a bartender at the Caffe to mix his Americano with Gin instead of soda, and here the Negroni was born.
Like many great Italian comfort foods Ribollita has its roots in the history of peasants, but surely this hearty soup is one of the most comforting of all. Seasonal vegetables ‘reboiled’ with bread and beans, our version has grilled sourdough, fresh broad beans, chicken breast and fresh herbs.
15 Castello D’Albola Chianti_Toscana
The high altitude of Castello D’A’bola Sangiovese vineyards creates a lean, clean expression of this remarkable grape. Great natural acidity drives this classic Chianti and the result is great drinkability and a wine that screams pizza!!!
Malcolm McLaren had a long-life obsession with “the look of music and the sound of fashion”. After stumbling upon a block party he fell in love with Hip Hop searching for a support act for Bow Wow Wow. His first single ‘’Buffalo Gals’’ was a take off a 19th century American folk song, and here marked the start of the Buffalo Hat to the world of Hip Hop into the music industry. The hat still has as much relevance today and was brought back by singer Pharrell Williams who wears the hat constantly as part of his every day look.
